Here lately, I have been getting some questions from clients and other photographers about how much I edit! I am, by no means, an expert! I feel like every session I learn, grow, and improve. I tend to be really critical of my work, so my goal at every session or wedding is to get the shot right straight in my camera! I love being able to show my clients little peaks on the back of my camera and it look great as is! So for the past several years, I have really worked hard and getting my color and exposure right the first time. I am a photographer! I want to spend my time shooting, not editing! So what I am sharing today is a little before and after on the blog! I have picked four different sessions that I have shot recently, and shown you the original (straight out of camera or SOOC) and the edited way! I do 99% of my editing in Lightroom 4, and rarely ever use photoshop! So take a look at a little before and after on this Texture Tuesday!
So as you can see, I tend to like my pictures a little brighter, and really that is the most I change on 90% of my shots! Now don’t get me wrong… I have my moments when I completely blow out a shot or completely underexpose, but those moments are fewer and further between the more I shoot and the more I practice!
